A man wearing just boxer shorts climbed on top of a KSHB live truck this morning, delaying traffic in downtown Kansas City.
Police were called to the scene around 7:30 this morning. They were able to talk him down after about 20 minutes and took him into custody.
The NBC affiliate had been downtown doing morning show live shots on the extreme heat. (Temperatures will reach the upper 90s today, feeling like the triple digits.) They were driving back to the station, at a slow pace, when the man climbed aboard.
