Man Climbs KTLA Tower to Send Message

“It’s quite the bizarre story,” reporter Olga Ospina said at the top of KTLA‘s 10 p.m. newscast last night, describing the drama that unfolded after a man climbed the CW-affiliate’s broadcast tower.

The man, who is set to undergo a mental evaluation, reportedly told police that he climbed the tower because he had a message that he wanted to deliver.

After about an hour on the tower, the man agreed to come down. At which point he was arrested.

KTLA caught up with him as he was being led away in handcuffs and he explained that he wanted to send a message of revolution. Video inside…
