A 52-year-old California man is facing charges today after threatening a very patient photographer with his 8,600-pound Ford Excursion.
Alex Stone and a crew were getting photos of a car on a public road outside San Diego Saturday when Mark Wayne Gordon approached in his SUV demanding repeatedly that they all get off his driveway. Gordon twice drove the SUV to within inches of where Stone was standing. At one point, he got out and knocked Stone’s phone to the ground. Gordon was taken to San Diego County jail and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor vandalism.
Stone was hired to photograph the Audi seen in the video, and wanted to use the remote landscape. Now he just wants $200 for a new phone.
