Anchors Edgar Munoz and Johana Suarez (center) along with investigative journalist Denny Alfonso no longer work at Los Angeles Telemundo-owned station KVEA.

A station spokesperson confirmed a statement posted to Media Moves that read, “Edgar and Johana have reached the end of their contracts with Telemundo 52, we thank them for their contributions and support them in their future professional pursuits. Denny is pursuing new opportunities. We are supportive of her transition and appreciate the work that she has done with our RESPONDE enterprise. She will be using the next few months to finalize her next move. Our commitment to provide quality news to our viewers will continue and we are working with our news team on transition.”

Both Munoz and Suarez had been anchoring at the station since 2103. Alfonso joined in January 2014.
