WCVB anchor Liz Brunner is leaving the Boston ABC affiliate to start her own communications company.
Brunner announced the news on facebook, “I’m so excited to share some special news with you. I am launching my own company, Brunner Communications, a full-service media training, coaching, and consulting firm. It’s been a phenomenal journey, and now I’m thrilled to embark on my next chapter.”
Brunner came to WCVB in September 1993. She started her career in 1985 at WCIA in Champaign, IL. Before working at WCVB, she worked at WTVT in Tampa, FL.

Her last day on-air will be next Thursday October 17.
