KOVR, the CBS owned station in Sacramento, California, has let go of veteran anchor, Sam Shane.
According to The Sacramento Bee, the network decided not to renew Shane’s contract.
The paper says anchors Tony Lopez and Christina Janes will fill Shane’s role on the 5pm and 10pm shows.

Shane has been a staple on CBS13 since 2006. He previously worked for KCRA, MSNBC and stations in San Francisco and Seattle.
