KATV in Little Rock is searching for a lifestyle host.
The station is adding an hour long show called, Good Afternoon Arkansas, to its afternoon lineup. The lifestyle, talk show will mimic ABC affiliate’s morning show, Good Morning Arkansas, Arkansas Business reported.
“Good Afternoon Arkansas will have some of the feel of Good Morning Arkansas but will have more up-to-date news and weather,” news director, Nick Genty told the paper. “Viewers will be able to get the big news events of the day and look ahead to what we are working on” for future in-depth news stories.
KATV’s morning show launched in 2000 as the first news magazine show in the market.
Good Afternoon Arkansas is set to launch in September in the 3pm time slot. The station has posted numerous job openings.
