By Kevin Eck

Lindsey Hayes said a tearful and sometimes funny goodbye to viewers and co-workers on the La Crosse, WI, ABC affiliate WXOW this morning.

The Daybreak co-anchor, who is leaving to join FOX Sports Detroit, expressed her love of rotisserie chicken, hunting and dancing. She then rolled a goodbye video where she talked about the time spent at WXOW, “I have met lifelong friends, great contacts, told hundreds of stories about local people doing extraordinary things, caught a lot of fish, hiked dozens of trails, and my hairstyle has transformed too (Thank goodness)! ha.”
