Lester Holt to Join Son Stefan at WMAQ Anchor Desk: ‘I have to be on my A-game’

WMAQ anchor Stefan Holt is teaming up with his father, NBC News anchor Lester Holt, on the NBC O&O’s noon newscast Friday.

“I asked him: You’re not working on Thanksgiving are you?” Lester Holt told the station. “He said, ‘Actually I am.’ I said, ‘if you guys are short, if Daniella Guzman wants the day off, I can fill in.'”

“I’m a little nervous to be honest,” Lester added. “I have to be on my A-Game. He’s pretty good. I’ve been watching him.”
