Lauren Sivan Leads Anti-Sexual Harassment Protest

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

FOX LA anchor, Lauren Sivan, first spoke out about her encounter with Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

Now she’s leading a protest march.

Deadline is reporting that the KTTV anchor-reporter is chairing an anti-sexual harassment march in Hollywood on November 12.

The Take Back The Workplace march is organized by the Feminist Majority Foundation, Civican, and We for She. The goal is to bring protests of sexual harassment in the workplace to the streets, calling out those who commit it, those who tacitly allow it, and those who help cover it up.

TVSpy first reported when Sivan spoke out on national television about the details surrounding her encounter with Weinstein.

The report says “organizers are demanding abolition of the confidential arbitration clauses and non-disclosure agreements in employment contracts that they claim make it nearly impossible to expose and properly litigate workplace sexual harassment and assault.”

The march will end at the CNN building in Hollywood.
