Lauren Langer has joined Peoria, Ill. CBS and Fox affiliate WMBD-WYZZ.
The Journal Star reports Langer will co-anchor with Paul Cicchini at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on WMBD and will solo on WYZZ at 9 p.m.
“She brings with her a new energy and a fresh perspective to our evening news,” said WMBD news director Jeff Mulligan. “I’m confident central Illinois viewers will enjoy her broadcast style.”

Langer last worked at WTVO in Rockford, Illinois. She’s also worked at WFLD in Chicago.
