Sports anchor Larry Ridley is leaving Orlando NBC affiliate WESH.
The Orlando Sentinel reports WESH gm Jim Carter told staffers Ridley’s last day will be Sunday, Oct. 4.
The sportscaster may be best remembered during his time in Orlando for appearing in a TV commercial for Bud Light. Several local industry observers said, when the commercial appeared last fall, that it was a first for a Central Florida TV journalist.

Before coming to WESH in 2012, Ridley worked at WHDH in Boston. He’s also worked at WSVN in Miami, WKAG in Hopkinsville, Ky., and WAPT in Jackson, Miss.
