Kimberly King, a reporter at NBC owned-and-operated KXAS in Dallas, has left the station, according to Houston media blogger Mike McGuff.
“Kimberly King made a difficult decision to leave NBC5 because of a family matter,” a KXAS spokesperson told McGuff. “We respect her need to make her family a priority.”
King joined KXAS from Indianapolis’ WXIN in June as a consumer and investigative reporter. She last appeared on the station December 4.
