KVLY-KXJB Shuffles Evening Anchors Going Into Fall

By Merrill Knox

KVLY-KXJB in Fargo is shuffling their evening anchor lineup heading into September.

Longtime 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. anchor Robin Huebner (pictured) announced on the air Thursday night that the broadcast would be her last in the 10 p.m. timeslot. She will continue to anchor the 6 p.m. broadcast on KVLY, the NBC affiliate, and will also now anchor the 5:30 p.m. broadcast on sister station KXJB, the CBS affiliate, currently anchored by Stephanie Goetz.

“We want to do a better job, especially with our 5:30 newscast on KXJB, and so we’re just trying to figure out the best players that we can for each one of the newscasts,” station president and general manager Jim Wareham told The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead. “We thought Robin would give us a good shot at improving the 5:30 newscast.”
