Facing an onslaught of media coverage after Henry DiCarlo’s “fit” went viral earlier this week, the KTLA meteorologist and his producer addressed his behavior on yesterday’s morning newscast. DiCarlo joked he was hungry and he hadn’t had any coffee, and said “all kinds of things were going on” in his life at that moment, before walking it back to an almost-apology:
DiCarlo: It doesn’t matter what the circumstances were. It wasn’t a pretty sight for me to act like that. And I get that. But personally — you guys have seen much worse from me. So I don’t think it was that bad.
KTLA anchor Megan Henderson: If you’re a regular watcher of our show, especially during those hours, this happens on a daily basis. Maybe to that extent, but it is kind of — it’s a little bit of our shtick.
