Joey The Garden Cat, KTHV‘s morning mascot died on Friday.
“We’re sad to share that the THV11 family is mourning the loss of our beloved Joey the Garden Cat,” The Little Rock, Ark. CBS affiliate announced on Joey’s facebook page. “You may recall Joey’s health issues through the years. There’s no doubt that Joey has always shown he’s a special cat, even in dealing with so much adversity. Thank you to everyone who has loved Joey as much as we do.”

The THV11 family would like to our extend our gratitude to each and every one of you for all your kind words and thoughts about his passing. From the beginning, when he showed up in our Weather Garden, he stole our hearts and many of yours. He will always be remembered, and his spirit will continue to be a big part of the THV11 family and beyond. Thank you again for all your kindness.
