KTBS anchor-reporter Eric James, also known as Eric Cox, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with obscenity, which is a felony. The Shreveport ABC affiliate posted a brief report on its website about the arrest.
Rival station KSLA reports James “exposed himself and asked undercover agent to perform sexual favors.” Another man was also arrested in the incident.
“We have heard the report of his arrest. We are in the process of gathering more information and investigating the matter,” the station said in a statement. “In the meantime, Eric James has been placed on administrative leave.“
