Witchita’s KSN has been searching for a solution to b oost ratings on its 10 p.m. newscast since February, when the NBC affiliate announced the replacement of its veteran anchor team.

Last night, KSN shifted Brooke Martin, J.D. Rudd, and Jamison Coyle — currently the station’s weekend anchor team — to the 10 p.m. broadcast, officially replacing veteran anchors Stephanie Bergmann, John Snyder, and Dave Freeman.

According to Carrie Rengers of The Witchita Eagle, KSN’s interim director of marketing Darrin Fullerton said his station’s staff is very versatile, allowing him to “continue to take advantage of the talent we have in house.” Fullerton said other changes in the direction of the newscast are also in the pipeline for the 10 p.m. hour.
