KSBY Anchor Leaving to ‘Pursue Side Projects’

Jeanette Trompeter is leaving San Luis Obispo, Calif., NBC affiliate KSBY in March.

The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports the anchor will go part time in December and will focus on her business Ruby Shoes Wine Club.

“It’s just one of those ‘leap and the net shall appear’ moments in my life,” said Trompeter. “And in my experience, though they are scary at the time, they tend to be the ones that lead to wonderful things in hindsight.”
