KSAZ Weather Computer Goes Nuts, Weather Guy Rolls with It

By Kevin Eck

KSAZ‘s Cory McCloskey had some problems with his weather computer during Tuesday’s Noon show. Cities around Phoenix were showing up with super high temps.

Pointing to the 2,960 degrees in Cave Creek, Ariz., the weather anchor for the Phoenix FOX owned station said, “I think steel boils at about this temperature. So, Cave Creek, there’s probably nothing left up there.”

McCloskey told TVSpy, “As I turned to the map and saw the numbers go haywire, I thought to myself, I’m gunna have some fun with this. I’m as shocked as anyone to see the reaction to this. It still makes me laugh every time I watch it.”
