Nate Griffin has been named a general assignment reporter at Fox-owned station KRIV.
Griffin has worked at the Houston station as a sports contributor since 2013. He’ll report for the weekday morning and Noon newscasts.
“Nate has been a contributor for us who has displayed a great on-air presence and impressive work ethic,” said KRIV gm D’Artagnan Bebel. “We are very pleased to expand his role with FOX 26 as a full time general assignment reporter.”

He’s also co-host of the Nate and Creight show on CBS Sports Radio 610 and does color for Rice University and Conference USA on Yahoo Sports Radio AM 1560 in Houston.
