Houston FOX owned station KRIV has announced the addition of Maria Corrales as multimedia journalist for the 5:00 p.m. weekday show.
KRIV VP and news director Bob Morford said in a statement, “Maria’s experience as both a journalist and a government relations expert will expand the depth of our coverage on critical issues in our community, especially in the area of public health. We look forward to her contributions to our team.”
Corrales, who will also work on the weekend shows, comes to KRIV from KXLN in Houston where she was a news reporter and producer. She has also worked for Telemundo Houston and KTRK in Houston.

She joins the station Monday February 24.
