KPRC sports reporter and anchor Simone Eli is leaving the Houston NBC affiliate.
“I’ve loved my time here and have created amazing relationships with folks at KPRC, but I am moving to be happier personally and continue my sports broadcasting career in Alabama (Birmingham/Tuscaloosa area),” Eli told Houston Media Blogger Mike McGuff.
Before joining KPRC in July 2014, Eli was sports director at WALA Mobile, Ala. She worked at Buckeye Cable Sports Network before that.
