Jenelle Shriner has been named news director at Lake Charles, La. NBC affiliate KPLC.
Shriner worked at KVUE in Austin, Texas as a morning and midday ep before leaving for KPRC in Houston. She returned to KVUE in December 2015 as assistant news director.
“Leaving KVUE (again) will be so hard but I know the station is in great hands!” Shriner wrote on Facebook. “Leading the team for the last several months made me realize I want to be a News Director more than anything in the world.”
