KOTV Prepares for New Building and HD News

By Kevin Eck

Tulsa’s CBS affiliate, KOTV, will be moving into its long-awaited state-of-the-art facility and broadcasting its news in High Definition for the first time on Saturday.

The new 56,000 square foot space offers a look at what future station design might look like and also gives a lift to a section of Tulsa that is being revitalized. David Griffin, president and chief executive officer of Griffin Communications told TVSpy he’s excited about the move.  “Our staff and the city of Tulsa are the winners.”

The facility features geothermal heating and cooling and LED lighting to make it easy on the environment and also houses the Tulsa CW affiliate KQCW.
