KOMO Crew Walks Away from Hit and Run Crash Uninjured

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

A KOMO photographer walked away from a hit and run crash uninjured.

According to the station’s website, the unnamed station employee was driving on a bridge in Othello, just outside Seattle, when an oncoming vehicle approached. The photographer swerved to avoid the car but so did the other vehicle.

Reports show the two vehicles collided then the suspect drove off. A sheriff’s deputy chased the driver and eventually pulled him over a mile and a half down the road. A breath test revealed the driver’s blood alcohol was more than three times the legal limit.
