KOB’s Steve Stucker Announces ‘Semi-Retirement’

By Merrill Knox

Steve Stucker, the morning and noon meteorologist at KOB, has announced his “semi-retirement.”

Stucker has reduced his on-air duties, signing off from the noon newscast last Thursday. He plans to continue as the morning meteorologist. According to KOB, Stucker recently signed a five-year contract with the Albuquerque NBC-affiliate.

“Thanks to ALL of you who have been so kind to me here at the noon show the past 15 years,” Stucker said. “But it’s time to ‘semi-retire.'”
