KOB Adds Tessa Mentus as Anchor

kob logo_304x200Albuquerque, NM, NBC affiliate KOB has announced Tessa Mentus has joined the station as co-anchor of the 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. newscasts.

“KOB 4 has a long history of producing quality news and I’m excited to join the team,” Mentus said in a statement. “I’m also looking forward to exploring New Mexico and getting to know the unique culture here.”

Mentus replaces Nicole Brady as co-anchor alongside Tom Joles. Brady moved to mornings after returning from maternity leave.

Before coming to KOB, Mentus worked at WTVY in Dothan, AL, where she was an evening anchor and reporter. She has also worked at stations in Syracuse, NY, and Altoona, PA.
