The Scripps owned station is adding Danielle Lerner and Nick Ciletti as anchors while assistant news director Dan Wilson is heading to West Palm Beach to take over as interim news director for Scripps’ NBC affiliate WPTV.

KNXV news director Pat Costello told TVSpy Lerner will join the station in mid-September replacing Stephanie Hockridge on weekends. Hockridge has already moved to weekday co-anchor on the 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. after the station expanded its 6:00 p.m. show to an hour.  The station is adding Ciletti as co-anchor to the previously solo anchored weekend morning shows.

WPTV told TVSpy, “We are fortunate to have Dan as our Interim News Director. He has solid news experience and is an outstanding newsroom leader. We are in the process of speaking to candidates for the full-time news director position and the job is currently posted on our website.”

Lerner comes to KNXV from KVOA in Tucson where she is a morning anchor. Ciletti comes to KNXV from WBBH in Fort Myers, FL.
