KNSD Set to Move Studios, Offices by 2016

NBC owned KNSD is planning a move out of its downtown San Diego headquarters by the end of 2016, City News Service reports.

“KNSD will not be renewing our lease at 225 Broadway when it expires in 2021,” general manager Richard Kelley said in a statement. “Because of the inevitability of the move, we are accelerating our plans to find a new location that provides our employees with affordable amenities and an improved workspace, along with an updated, more versatile facility for news.”

KNSD has been located in its current studios since 2001. Employees are scheduled to receive more details on the move at a meeting today, according to City News Service.
