daniella guzmanDaniella Guzman has been named morning co-anchor at KNBC, the NBC-owned station in Los Angeles. She will anchor alongside Michael Brownlee weekdays from 4:30 to 7 a.m.

It is a move within NBC for Guzman, who has anchored the morning newscast at NBC-owned WMAQ in Chicago since 2012. KNBC’s announcement of Guzman’s hire comes after WMAQ announced Zoraida Sambolin as the new morning anchor.

“Daniella has the right combination of journalistic experience and genuine warmth that comes across on the air and in person,” vice president of news Todd Mokhtari said in a statement. “She is a dynamic anchor who will further strengthen our newscast and help our viewers kick start their day.”
