KMSP Reporter Stops Fall on Ice with Her Chin

By Kevin Eck

KMSP reporter M.A. Rosko wins the “TVSpy Iron Chin Award” (if there was such a thing) for remaining conscious after her live faceplant while reporting on the opening of the John Rose Minnesota Skating Oval.

Rosko was on ice skates and marveling about being blown backwards because of the wind when she fell face first on the ice. She then got up, brushed herself off, told the folks in the studio she wasn’t alright, and continued on with the report.

Her web colleagues at the FOX owned Minneapolis station posted the video and called it an “epic faceplant.” The story on the station’s website also said the ice oval “offers a safe rink for skaters.”
