Loftus will replace Dave Courvoisier who announced he is leaving the Nexstar owned CBS affiliate after 15 years to begin a new chapter.

“For the past eight years, it’s been a pleasure starting the day with Las Vegas and the best morning team in the business, including my talented colleagues Kirsten Joyce, Sherry Swensk and the entire “Good Day” crew,” Loftus said. “I am humbled and excited to move to evenings, alongside Denise Valdez and Tedd Florendo.

He started at the station in 2009 as a traffic anchor.
