KJRH Photographer Killed in Car Accident

Cameron Hood, a photographer and editor for Tulsa NBC affiliate KJRH, was killed in a car accident Thursday afternoon.

Cameron was a great young man who had a passion for shooting,” KJRH chief photographer Phil Willette wrote in an email to station staffers. “…As his shift consisted mostly of recording events that don’t usually find people at their best, Cameron carried himself professionally  and more importantly, he possessed an empathy and sensitivity for the people he was covering. I liked that about him. Here was a guy who would treat everyone with respect at some pretty hairy times. That’s a trait you can’t teach anyone and he was wise beyond his years for having that gift.”
