Kirk Montgomery will head to Lansing, MI, to anchor the 4:00 p.m. news for NBC affiliate WILX in May.

Montgomery recently announced he was leaving KUSA. The Denver Post reports he was not offered a new contract.
He started at KUSA in 2001.
