Portland meteorologist Sally Showman broke down during her live shot at a blues festival, telling viewers she is leaving KOIN.
“Oh my gosh, everybody knows I laugh but you probably don’t know I am a big crier too. My last day will be Friday so we’ll have a whole week of celebrating the past six years,” Showman said during her report.
“Some of the best years of my life and I feel like one of the luckiest girls on the planet.”

Showman has been a meteorologist with the Nexstar-owned CBS affiliate since 2011.
She says she will stay in Portland and plans to fill in from time to time.
