Khaled Abdelwahed has been promoted to vice president and general manager of KAZA, Azteca America’s flagship station in Los Angeles.
Abdelwahed has been general sales manager since 2008. Before that, he spent seven years at Univision as a local sales manager and general sales manager.
“Khaled has proven his leadership and performance abilities at Azteca 54 in his prior role as General Sales Manager and we are pleased to have his hardworking and results-driven character as General Manager of Azteca 54,” Azteca America CEO Martin Breidsprecher said in a statement.
