Tiffani Lupenski has been named news director at E.W. Scripps San Diego ABC affiliate KGTV. Lupenski is currently news director at Sinclair-owned Portland, Ore. ABC affiliate KATU. She starts March 9, 2015.
“We conducted a nationwide search for a news director, and Tiffani was at the top of our list,” said KGTV VP and GM Jeff Block. “We couldn’t be happier to have an experienced news manager of her caliber taking the helm.”
Before coming to KATU, Lupenski was executive producer at KCPQ in Seattle. She’s also worked at KUSA in Denver, CNN Headline News in Atlanta, WGST Radio in Atlanta, WBMA in Birmingham, Ala., KPLC in Lake Charles, La. and KSTA Radio in San Antonio.
