Zoltan Csanyi-Salcedo is the new news director for Sinclair-owned Harlingen, Texas CBS affiliate KGBT.
Csanyi comes to KGBT from ESPN where he was a coordinating producer. According to Rick Gevers, he replaces Kimberly Wyatt, who left to be ND at Sinclair’s WEAR.
Before working at ESPN, Csanyi had been news director at KINT in El Paso twice, once between 1997 and 2002 and, most recently between 2007 and 2013. He has also worked as news director at KTSM in El Paso and KXTX in Dallas-Fort Worth.
