KMGH has announced Kellie Patterson will join the Denver ABC affiliate as morning anchor starting next Monday.
Patterson left Charlotte’s WCNC last week for what she told TVSpy was “a great opportunity elsewhere.”
“Kellie is a smart, credible and enthusiastic journalist,” KMGH news director Jeff Harris said in a statement. “Viewers will see her natural energy and passion for reporting on breaking news and news that affects Coloradans.”
“I am thrilled to be joining the 7NEWS NOW team,” said Patterson. “7NEWS has developed one of the most unique and innovative morning newscasts in the country. I look forward to working with an incredibly talented group of journalists who are committed to being Colorado’s source for news and 24/7 Weather.”
She has also worked at KENS in San Antonio, and was a contestant on the CBS show “The Amazing Race.”
