Keith Garvin is joining KPRC, the NBC-affiliate in Houston, as a night reporter and anchor of the 4 p.m. newscast, Houston media blogger Mike McGuff reports.
Garvin comes from KTVT, the CBS O&O in Dallas, where he was a reporter and fill-in anchor. He previously worked at WRC, the NBC O&O in Washington, DC.
Garvin replaces Iain Page as 4 p.m. anchor. Page is rumored to be “leaving the station soon to pursue other opportunities,” according to McGuff.
