KCPQ Announces Change in Weather

By Kevin Eck

Seattle Fox-affiliate KCPQ is losing one crime reporter/weather anchor and naming a master gardener/meteorologist as her replacement.

News director Erica Hill told staffers in a memo obtained by TVSpy, former police officer and current weekend weather anchor Parella Lewis is leaving the station on Friday, April 22.

“I can’t think of anything more opposite than weather and crime fighting!” said Hill. “But Parella has done a great job in both roles during her time here at Q13. I know I speak for everyone when I say that she will be very missed.”
