After KCBS’s Serene Branson gave a stuttering, nonsensical live report following last night’s Grammy ceremony, viewers were left speculating about what had happened to the usually poised reporter. Now KCBS is setting the record straight about Branson’s shaky appearance during the station’s late newscast.
Contradicting a Telegraph report that Branson had been hospitalized after her live appearance, the CBS O&O says that Branson was treated at the scene by paramedics and spent the night at home.
A spokesperson for KCBS sent TVSpy the following statement:
Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning.
