Karen Anderson is joining WCVB, the ABC affiliate in Boston. Anderson joins the station after 10 years at rival WBZ, the CBS-owned station in Boston.
“Karen is an accomplished journalist with a reputation for enterprising and breaking exclusive stories,” WCVB general manager Bill Fine said in a statement. “She is a top notch investigative and political reporter with a proven track record. We are excited to have a reporter of her caliber join our talented team here at WCVB.”
In her new role, Anderson will work with WCVB’s investigative unit as well as covering politics and breaking news stories.
“WCVB’s reputation as Boston’s news leader as well as its commitment to outstanding journalism is what brought me to Channel 5. I am honored to join the WCVB team and am looking forward to continuing to serve the Boston community,” Anderson said.
