Susan Hiland is leaving Kansas City Fox affiliate WDAF to work as the director of media and public relations for North Kansas City Schools.
Hiland has worked at WDAF since 1999. The Kansas City Star reports her last day is Friday, Aug. 26. She starts at her new job in September.
She’s worked for ABC News in Chicago, KDNL n St. Louis, WFIE and WTVW in Evansville, Ind., and WTNH in New Haven, Conn.
