Ashley Brewer is returning to Los Angeles ABC-owned station KABC as weekend sports anchor and reporter.
Brewer comes from KGUN in Tucson, Arizona where she is also the weekend sports anchor. She started at the station in October 2014.
“Ashley is a former college athlete,” KABC news director Rob Elmore told staffers in a memo. “She represented USA Swimming at the 2012 Olympic Trials and was a Varsity Team Member of the USC Women’s Swimming and Diving Team. Some may remember Ashley from her days as an ABC7 Sports intern.”

KABC says she starts “no later than mid-October.”
