This is a move within parent company E.W. Scripps for Wilfon who is leaving Scripps Tulsa station KJRH this week.
“I’ll miss my 2 Works for You family, but I’m happy to be staying in The E.W. Scripps Company,” Wilfon said in a statement. ”I’m very much looking forward to this incredible opportunity, and this big adventure in KC.”
Scripps also said the Now, the interactive and social media focused show it launched in Denver and Kansas City in July, will expand to six more markets: WXYZ in Detroit, KNXV in Phoenix, WCPO in Cincinnati, WEWS in Cleveland, WFTS in Tampa, FL, and WPTV in West Palm Beach.
