John Harding Leaving KKTV for Real Estate Business

By Kevin Eck

John Harding, co-anchor of the KKTV morning news, is leaving the Colorado Springs CBS affiliate to concentrate on his real estate business.

This is the second time Harding has left the station. He worked at the station from 1997 until 1999 before leaving to work as an anchor/reporter at KTHV in Little Rock, AR, and then WTSP in Tampa, FL. He returned as a morning anchor in 2007 and currently co-anchors with Stacia Naquin.

KKTV general manager Nick Matesi told The Gazette the station won’t rush to hire  a replacement, “We’re going to take our time to make sure we get the right person to fit in with Stacia, meteorologist Branden Borremans, traffic reporter James Brown and the rest of the crew.”
