Jim Hice has been named news director at KCEN, the NBC affiliate in Waco, the Waco Tribune-Herald reports.
“We’re extremely lucky to have a news director of Jim’s caliber to continue KCEN-HD’s mission: the pursuit of reporting excellence with a tradition of community involvement,” KCEN VP-GM Gayle Kiger said.
Hice comes from WHAS, the ABC affiliate in Louisville, where he has been the assistant news director for four years. He succeeds Jim Holland, who has been the KCEN news director for five years.
