Jill Konopka is joining Hartford, Conn., NBC-owned station WVIT as an investigative reporter.
“Jill is a well-respected, passionate and hard-charging investigative reporter and we’re thrilled that she is joining NBC Connecticut’s Troubleshooters investigative team,” said Matt Piacente, vp of news for WVIT. “The best investigative team in the market just got better.”
Konopka comes from Hartford CBS affiliate WFSB where she’s worked since 2008. She’s also worked at WBRE in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., WUHF in Rochester, N. Y. and KEVN in Rapid City, S.D.
